MY MONSTER

Troy Athens, a pampered Hollywood stunt performer aptly named the “Monster King,” threatens his career and marriage when he storms off the set of his wife’s directorial debut—a monster movie about the legendary Curtis Creek Creature. Glued into his creature costume by a disgruntled crewmember, Troy wrecks his car and wanders into the Texas wilderness looking for help. It isn’t long before three orphaned siblings, Oz, Clyde and Savannah, come across the costumed Troy in their junkyard playground. Thinking he is the real Curtis Creek Creature, they knock out and hogtie Troy in hopes of collecting a million-dollar reward for the capture of the monster. But before the kids can deliver their prisoner to the crackpot radio host who announced the reward, a villainous junkyard owner kidnaps Oz in an attempt to steal the million dollars for himself. That’s when Troy, who previously hated children, risks his own life to save those of his young captors.
