ending with "Honor and Respect". Bring this to your Grocery stores, let the Managements know we are getting
involved with an ever strong Petition of Supermarkets. Tell them we are doing this in
honor of our Native People.
National
and Hemispherical Petition Declared!
It
is your Choice!
This statement
is in honor of our Native People!
Dear Manager of this store or Corporate Management,
We seek your assistance
and respectfully petition and urge you to display a Banner sign that states "Get to Know your Roots in more ways than One”. Please display above the produce that cultural banner sign, did you know
tomatoes and potatoes, corn and all sorts of squashes, green, yellow, red and orange peppers, pineapple, papaya, avocado,
chocolate and vanilla and many more wonderful products were farmed by our Native
American Indian People! Yes, they are indigenous to the Americas and nowhere else.
Please Managers of our grocery stores be respectful; we respectfully
petition and urge you to display one week a season, every season, fruits and vegetables as well as other natural substances
that are indigenous to the Americas. Then place leaflets in conspicuous places by that display to tell customers some
history of the Native American-Indian Farmers. The American government is still in the business of making bad images of our
Native People with Casino {fighting} gambling. Although some milestones have been achieved we feel left out when we have on
record no true honor and respect. We are not opposed to the choice of gambling. We loathe the bad image making at times by
the United States Government.
Our U.S. Government
has broken thousands of treaties and we can finally get it right for our Native People when our Grocery Managers get it together
with honoring Native People! Managers for the sake of honesty and human decency lead the way to respect those who toiled for
us so we could enjoy the bounty of the Americas!
I am a regular
customer and I am getting involved with a petition, a respectful urging of your store. When you begin to honor Native
People accordingly I will think more respectfully of your management.

Before Columbus completed
his first voyage, Europeans had never seen tomatoes, Jerusalem artichokes, sweet potatoes, and squashes of all sorts, potatoes,
avocadoes, pepper, corn, cocoa, first Chocolatiers, and manioc. Some of the plants would not grow, others were mishandled,
yet others never caught on with the public, but a few captured the imagination of millions in short order. Please feel free

Among the vast heritage from the Amerindian civilization are great grower-breeders, they, for tens of thousands
of years on hundreds of thousands of farms are our Stewards of the Americas. The Supermarket Campaign is one of the most important
ways to honor and respect our Root People.
