So here we are, coming up on race #4 of the 2013 Masters series at Blue Diamond Motorsports Park.       Each year the Blue Diamond track shows us a little something new, and this year Alan DeCarlo and his crew have made a new set of track changes to keep things interesting for all of us.       Additionally, as this is a stand-alone Masters event, we will be working with a different format than the past couple of races.      On June 1, Blue Diamond will be hosting a Yamaha Demo Day with pro rider Jason Raines and a trailer full of demo Yamahas including a full GYTR 250 Yamaha that's got some pretty good kick to it (having ridden it at Tomahawk).        For this event, we'll be featuring a mixed schedule of race moto's and open practice sessions that will give everyone plenty of ride time throughout the day.

Key details of how this event will work:

·         The Masters MX moto schedule is a variant of Schedule 2, with practice sessions intermingled instead of races.    

·         Everybody can ride.   Practice sessions will be for A/B, C and 80’s.      50’s and 65’s will have open access to the small track.

·         Controlled open practice sessions will run for 15 minutes between each moto for spacing purposes.

·         Yamaha demos can run throughout the day during open practice sessions as well as on the second track.

This is an excellent opportunity for all of you to bring along riding friends who may not want to race, as there will be plenty of ride time and some good racing to watch in between.     So please help out by passing on this information/message to others so we can make this event a success for Blue Diamond.

• This is a Saturday event for Masters MX.
• Gate Fee $15    
• Entry Fee $30 / class
• Schedule:    Masters MX will run Schedule 1, modified for practices (PDF attached) 
• Laps: 8 for A classes, 6 for Masters B/C, 5 for Women/Beginner 
• Trophies: 1 for every 4 riders (to 5th)
