Robert Kierce uses quality Certainteed roofing products on all roofing jobs – most of which involve the use of architectural shingles, which carry a 30-year guarantee. There are 20 different colors and patterns to choose from. Most roofing shingles are manufactured from asphalt, with some reinforced by fiberglass, paper or wood fiber. Great improvements have been made in shingles in recent years, today the life expectancy of asphalt shingles is between 20 and 30 years.

Bob also installs ridge and soffit vents, which extend the life of the roof by providing ventilation to the attic. He also uses quality products to prevent ice dams.

Window replacement is also available from Robert Kierce Roofing. Bob installs quality replacement windows manufactured by Harvey Industries, which are also fully guaranteed. Typically in New England he suggests double thermopane windows that insulate in the winter and cool in the summer.
