"Poet of Hope" appeared in bold caption on an article appearing in the Roanoke Times, my local newspaper, that was written following my selection as the "Poet of the Year" by the Fellowship of Christian Poets.  The title has defined what I want to be....A poet of hope. 

On this web site I'll offer selections of poetry that I believe will instill hope, faith, and encouragement as we make this journey through life.  As Christians, we are never without hope.  It is God's gift to us that encourages us through the storms we face.   As God's hand  guides us through this life with its complexities and trials, it is my prayer that you will find hope in the words you read and that you will be encouraged and blessed.
