From God's Point of View

"Every valley shall be raised up, every moutain and hill made low; the rough ground shall become level, the rugged places a plain" (Is. 40:4).

From God’s Point of View

The mountains loomed like giants

Casting shadows over me.

They seemed to stretch into the clouds

Far beyond where I could see.

But one day I took off in flight

And I soared into the sky

And watched the mountains slowly shrink

As the higher I would fly.

What first seemed insurmountable,

These huge mountains that I feared,

Looking from Your perspective, Lord,

So much smaller they appeared.

As I soared into the heavens,

Lord, I marveled at my view.

At last my mountains disappeared

For I saw them as You do.
