Streater, a New York import, has proved what dance and movement can add to a summer show. What could be done like a concert comes to life through expressive movement that depicts love, despair, age, hope and good-natured lust.

Susan Streater has directed a peppy, irresistable production with an early-'60s flair of that suprisingly sweet musical for the Stoneham Theatre.

Little Shop of Horrors-reviewed by Sally Cragin-The Boston Globe

This New York City quality show is sexy, smart and satirical under Susan Streater's assured and creative direction. Streater, who is based in New York and danced for the late Fosse in the musical, brings "Chicago" to pulsating life with appealing and sensual choreography, slick pacing, and a general look that captures the sophisticated but cynical spirit of the piece.

The darker that the San Pedro Playhouse production of "Cabaret" gets, the better it is.Director Susan Streater, a theater freelancer who typically works with professional companies, seems to have brought out the best in her cast. She has pulled together a rewarding production that serves the material beautifully.
