INTRODUCTION
In September of 1971, I hired in at WBTH, Williamson as the enginer. The previous enginer had let
them get fined. His next job was actually where my father worked (Houdaille Industries, Huntington) and where I was supposed
to. Strange how things turn round'. This was my first "real" job as I was fresh out of trade school (for some dumb reason
I didn't want to go to WV Tech.) and I would do my best. For nearly two years nothing was said about the ongoing FM case.
I had no clue. But then things changed. We had a visit from the FCC again. The inspector spent nearly an hour with owner Bob
Harvit and all were smiling when they came out of the office. Rleief! Bob called me in the office and began by saying "Thank
You!". And this is where my story begins for there on his desk was an orange file folder.
