The Seven Wonders of the Ancient World is a list of man-made structures that were built in the time of the
ancient civilizations. It was compiled using the writings of the ancient Greeks so you will notice that all
of these wonders are either in or near ancient Greece. Structures that might have made the list like the Great
Wall of China and Stonehenge will not be found because the ancient Greeks would not have had knowledge of these places.
Unfortunately, all but one of these wonders have been destroyed. Spend some time on the sites below to learn more about
