Riddle on the Harp

Our music band is made up of three women from Bedford County, Virginia. We are anything but bored housewives! Our group began when two next-door neighbors began learning traditional tunes from America and the British Isles. A miracle or two turned it into something more. . .

We perform with a variety of wind and string instruments such as harp, violin, bowed psaltery, guitar, flute, recorder, hammered dulcimer, and mandolin. Besides periodic charitable performances, Riddle on the Harp plays regularly at Givens Books, the Sedalia Center, the Academy of Fine Arts and other area coffeehouses, restaurants, weddings and private parties. We also have performed at numerous outdoor festivals and special events such as "Day at the Point" historical festival, the Annual Celtic Festival, Amazement Square, and Christmas Open House at Point of Honor Museum.
