I would guess that you didn’t know you are a member of a committee but it’s my honor and privilege to welcome you to the Committee to Elect Doug Kalmbach.  This letter is going out to thank all of you who have helped in some way with my Campaign for Sheriff of Centre County.  You, as a committee, sent out e-mails, spoke to your family and friends, asked for permission to put  political signs in yards, signed  my petition, gave financially, worked on Election Day, gave advice, and many of you prayed.  Your response and efforts were rewarded with a very decisive victory in the Primary Election, with more than 51% of Republican votes and 115 Democratic write-in votes.  We are very thankful and very humbled by this miracle, we could not have done it without you. And we are proud to call you committee members.   THANK YOU!

You may be asking what this 100 at 100 Challenge logo at the top of the letter is all about, well if I may have a little more of your valuable time, to explain, I would be very grateful.

As in any project, it will need funding, so we are asking 100 committee members to consider participating in this challenge by giving one hundred dollars to the Committee to Elect Doug Kalmbach.  We feel confident  because of what has been accomplished to this point with your help but we have a lot of work to do to win the election in November.

The Office of Sheriff has a vital roll in county government and the law enforcement community, and should be accountable to the citizens of Centre County.  I have the Experience, Accountable Reforms, and an attitude of Service to make the changes needed to the Office of Sheriff.  As Sheriff of Centre County, I will bring a type of leadership that is hands on, hard working, and an involved team player, that is so urgently needed.

I know that not everyone who receives this letter is going to be able to give according to the theme of this 100 at 100 fundraising project.  Please consider giving a donation of $75, $50, $25 or $10 as all will be greatly appreciated.
