Feature Wild Food Of The Month
Garlic Mustard -- This is a green leaf that grows all winter long, underneath the snow.
You have to memorize the location of it while the snow is away, then you can scrape away the snow there to get fresh greens.
Use it in salads and as a garlic or onion substitute for recipes. It is high in Vitamins A and C. Garlic
mustard has antiseptic properties. It has been used to clean wounds and abrasions.
