Just the two of us & our canine companion (Lily)

 - "empty nesters", the kids moved out - for now...

 

We live on the east coast, in Maryland, mid-way between Baltimore and Washington, D.C.   We have resided in Maryland since 1976, and bought our first and only home in 1984.  We've raised two children here, and currently have no plans to move or relocate (although we talk of it often). 

 

Initially, I thought of naming my site "Hudson Trucking Company".  But, it was a bit obvious, and I also found that it is widely used in commercial circles.

After a while, I came up with this name, based on the "White Triangle" logo Hudson was known-for and used in their early years.  I have not yet finalized a suitable 'logo' for White Triangle Trucking, but will post it here & make it part of my site when I do.

      

I retired from the U.S. Army a decade or so ago (Guess that makes me "older than dirt"), and was working as a computer technician - currently unemployed due to a downturn in the economy. In my spare time I am a “jack of all trades”, fixing, repairing, remodeling and building just about anything from kitchens to cars; I even build, program and repair my own computers, and am also attempting to get my own web-sales going. Years ago, I was "into" First Gear diecast collectibles, and am now occasionally selling them. I don't really think I'll get rich doing this (either on eBay or on the web), so I guess I'll just call it a hobby.

 

I have also acquired a few old pickup trucks, and am trying to get them restored to original condition - or at least driveable.
