*Gross Motor Play and Grow:  For ages 3-5 with emphasis on building core strength and gross motor coordination.  Children will participate in structured activities to promote success with such skills as running, jumping and balancing.

 

*Handwriting Readiness for Preschoolers:  A structured eight week program to introduce and build skills needed for later success in learning to print.  This group is designed to meet the needs of children who are at risk for difficulties, or for children not participating in a preschool program.

 

*Sensory Gym:  Parent/caregiver-child pairs will be able to explore a wide variety of sensory activities in the group, with support from the occupational therapist.  Tactile, auditory, olfactory, visual, propriocptive and vestibular activities will be available.

 

All groups will be 45 minutes and are led by the occupational therapist.  Pre-registration is required and a prescreening may be advised.  Our pediatric groups are open to any child in the community who may benefit.  Insurance coverage may be possible.  Please contact to inquire.
