The Breastplate Of Righteousness (Part 2 )(Week 6)

Ephesians 6:14 Having Put On the breastplate of Righteousness.

II Corin. 5:21 Jesus became sin so we could become righteous in Him.

Psalm 91 This is what God is to us, and what some of the promises are... Study and meditate....confess daily.

God is.......Our rest, refuge, place of safety, shelter, faithful, amour, protection,

God Will.... rescue from every trap, protect from deadly disease,

we Should...... live in His shelter, trust Him, not fear terror by night, nor weapons of the day, not dread disease or disaster

Even when.... people are perishing around me, nothing shall harm me

How can this be?? You abide in God through Christ Jesus, not casually, but committed. No evil will conquer, no disease will come near you, His angels will protect you, You will crush fierce lions (I Peter 5:8-9) and serpents (Rev. 12:9) under your feet! God will rescue those who love Him, and protect those who trust n Him. He will be with them and answer when they call, he will honor them and satisfy them with long life, and show his salvation.

Romans 10:17 Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God

When The going gets tough....where do

These are hard and trying times for a lot of people. The thing is at some point in time we will all face some type of adversity. God has put this saying on my heart, and I feel it may be of some help to you.

It is not adversity that defines us...It is how we come through the adversity that defines who we are in Christ.

So how do you get through adversity? The same way we Christians get through anything else...God's word. We can read/hear it and simply say "oh thats nice, praise God" or when can get it in our heart and "STAND In Faith" no matter what circumstance or situations say, we need to stand therefore, on the promises of God. I pray dear child of God, that the God of all grace, mercy, and strength, equips, empowers, and encompasses you in and through all you do.

Going Forward With God!

The armor of God

You can not go out and expect to overcome the wiles of the devil and lusts of your flesh if you are not in full understanding of the authority of you as believer. Jesus Christ left all power and authority to the church (body of believers) to overcome anything this world or the devil has for us. When we understand and put on the whole armor of God, nothing by any means shall harm us. Read and meditate on the scriptures, seek out God's word for every area of you life, and live as God wants you to live....Victorious in Christ!
