Albany to Woods Hole:
From I-787, take I-90 East.
Continue
east on to the Mass. Turnpike
and exit on I-495 South (Cape Cod) Exit 11A
At the end of I-495, comtinue
straight on to Route 25
Cross the Bourne Bridge, continue straight on to Route 28
In the village of Falmouth,
continue straight on to Woods Hole Rd., and this road takes you to the Steamship Authority ferry docks.
Oak
Bluffs to cottage:
Exit the ferry, continue straight, go past Wesley
House hotel on your left. Turn left on Dukes County Ave., continue several blocks .
Pass Tony's market on right,
and turn right at stop sign, on to Wing Road. Follow to intersection with firehouse on right. Cross County Road to Barnes
Road and quickly make first left turn on to Alpine Ave. Take first right on to California Ave (sandy road). Pass cottage on
left, bear left just after second cottage. A large house will be in front of you. Bear left again into driveway.
After
unpacking, you may chose easier access by parking behind the cottage
Vineyard
Haven to cottage:
Exit the ferry, turn left on Water Street. Procced
to stop sign. Avoid sharp left onto Beach Street, bear left onto Beach Road. Continue over Causeway Bridge, bearing right
past hospital. Turn right (soon) onto County Road. Proceed to intersection at firehouse and turn right onto Barnes Road. Quickly
make first left turn on to Alpine Ave. Take first right on to California Ave (sandy road). Pass cottage on left, bear left
just after second cottage. A large house will be in front of you. Bear left again into driveway.
