The radiator
fan controller is designed to fit in the original position where the relays are located. Connections to the fans, temperature
sensor and wiring harness are convenient. This controller utilizes proportional speed control based on thermal demand of radiator this minimizes engine
temperature spikes. Separate electrical drive outputs for each fan provides redundant
operation for reliability and simplifed wiring. The fan indicator in the speedometer is still functional with this
controller.
The prototype version
of this radiator fan controller is featued in an article in Pnatera International, Fall 2003, #116
