The LED turn signal light conversions were designed for 1971 through 1974, Pre-L and L-Model Pantera signal housings. The LED arrays consist of industrial grade high performance LED's, as much as 20 times the optical power of the LEDs used in the bulb base replacement types. The electronics on each LED panel control the current to the LEDs and convert the electrical signals from the Pantera wiring harness to imitate the incandescent lamp function. The orginal incandescent lamps are removed and the panels are inserted in the reflector pockets of the housing. In this configuration the light is diffused filling the lens, superior to the aftermarket bulb replacement LED's which only emit light from a central location. The LED arrays meet or exceed the SAE illumination specifications for automotive signal lamps, yet consume only 30% the power of the 1157 incandescent lamps. This significantly reduces the current through the headlight switch extending the life. The LED arrays are designed to connect to the original Pantera wiring harness.

Note that the LED turn signals require electronic flashers to operate properly, the original Pantera flasher will not operate properly.
