The Baltimore Police Memorial Fund is pleased to announce the release of Some Gave
All. Written by Officers Steve Olson (ND) and Bobby Brown (SD) with a cover design
by Officer Raul Alvarez (ND), this book chronicles the circumstances surrounding the 124 officers that have lost their lives
in the line of duty throughout the history of the Baltimore Police Department. This
248 page hard cover volume with appendices and pictures also includes those officers who were previously unreported.
The cost of the book is $20 and all of the proceeds benefit the Memorial
Fund to care for and maintain the memorial built for our fallen brothers and sister at the corner of Fayette and President.
There are a limited number of copies. Those
books that do not sell will be available at the FOP during regular business hours and Amazon.com following the official release. Purchasing the book from the FOP contributes significantly more of the cover price
to the actual charity.
Bobby and Steve have done a marvelous job with the research and telling the story of each of our Fallen Heroes.This was a fantastic idea of these guys and everyone should purchase a copy of the book and read it. Our brothers and
sisters must never ever be forgotten for what they contributed to the department. All proceeds will go directly to the memorial
to preserve and maintain it. The book is a good read and best yet, it benefits our own.
