We are sorry to inform you

Noelle Jordan and Alexandra Erin could not wait to see the world.  Unfortunatlly for them, it was to early.  As you know, Cindy had an appointment for a sonogram on Tuesday January 9, 2007.  There was both good news and bad news.  The babies were both doing well, but the fluid in Alex's sac was getting to be too much.  Dr. Thomas thought it would be best if Cindy had that fluid drained, so she was admitted to the hospital to have the proceedure the following morning.  Through the night Cindy was having some cramping.  They hooked her up to a monitor and found that it was some spuratic contractions with irritability in between.  They could not do the draining unless the contractions stopped.  They had slowed, but at 8:25 am on January 10th, Noelle jumped out to see us.  There was nothing the doctors could do.  Alex was to far into the birthing canal and if we tryed to just leave her in, it could have harmed her and Cindy because of the leftover umbillical cord and stuff from Noelle.  Alex then had to come out and was born at 8:56 am.  They couldn't see us or the world, could feel all the love around them.  Cindy had to have a DNC done and everything went well and she is doing fine.  The girls were both baptised and the hospital put together a cherished memory box about them.

In lieu of gifts and flowers, we are asking that a donation be made in honor of the girls to the Twin Twin Transfusion Syndrome Foundation.

The hospital has graciously given us pictures and footprints. Anyone wishing to see them, we have published it on a separate page. We just look at the pictures of Alex and Noelle as though they are sleeping peacefully. In the photo Alex is on the Left and Noelle is on the right.
