OPERATION SANTA CLAUS

Wednesday, Dec. 24, noon - approx. 5 p.m. Operation Santa Claus.

Teams of one adult driver and four high school students dressed as Santa Claus and three helpers (costumes provided) visit approximately four families to deliver gifts to the children in the house.

  • Everyone should wear something "Christmassy" in case the costumes provided need a little help!
  • Each driver should have received, by now, an envelope from the Office for Youth and Young Adults with the names and contact information for each person in their car. Please contact Mr. Dickerson if you have not received this letter.

Noon - 12:15: Gather in St. David parking lot. We will depart at 12:15 for St. Martin of Tours.

1 p.m. Registration begins at St. Martin of Tours, Philadelphia.

1:30 p.m. Teams of one driver and four youth leave from St. Martin's to deliver gifts in the area of St. Martin of Tours.

After the delivery of toys, all team members MUST immediately return their costumes to Drexelbrook Catering at Drexelbrook Drive and Valley Road, Drexel Hill. Refreshments will also be available here. (Directions are provided for the drivers in the letter from the Office for Youth and Young Adults).

4:45 p.m. Christmas Eve Mass celebrated by Bishop Joseph McFadden (optional - the indivudal teams can determine if they will remain for the Mass or return to St.David's).
