About Us

IMHS, a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization, established February, 1973, is dedicated to the collection and preservation of the history of Shamong Township, Burlington County, NJ and its people. Whether you are a visitor, newcomer, or a longtime resident of Shamong Township, you owe it to yourself to learn more about its rich history. Let IMHS be your guide. We have interesting goals and ideas, things we care about and want to share. We feel our ideas can improve the area, and we want to let other people know how they can join in and make Shamong Township a better place. Through pictures, images, and messages, on this website, we will present our goals and ideas to the community. We'll also include information about our organization and its members.

Connecting on a personal level is an important part of sharing ideas. Here are some details about IMHS and the people behind it.
