Logans Ferry VFD would like to thank Plum Council for the approval of our Engine purchase, and financial assistance of $ 270,000.00

This purchase would not be possible without the assistance of the tax payers of Plum Boro. An additional $ 238,000.00 will be paid for by the department, with a 15 year loan and fund raising activites.

Our new Rescue Engine has an estimated completion date of November  2008.  Pierce Manufacturing has been selected as the builder.  This design and layout of the vehicle has taken several hundred hours of our members time and with the assistance of Mr. Jim Sims of Glick Fire Equipment of Zelienople, Pennsylvania

Our design has been approved by the Plum Borough Fire Chiefs Association which includes the Fire Chiefs of Holiday Park (Station 236), Renton (Station 234) and Unity (Station 233).
