This years IAMA Hall of Fame Event was attended by a capacity crowd representing many of the Leaders of the U.S. and International Martial Arts. Shihan Gary Alexander and IAMA Board sponsored this years Event that began with the usual happy hour reception, followed by Official Ceremonies that included the United State Marine Corp Color Guard from the Eatontown, N.J. Recruiting Station under Gunnery Seargeant Hanks. As the Colors were flown the Duty Bugler, 15 year old Mac Tasetano played the Marine Hymn, followed by the National Anthem, and topped off with Shihan Isaac Henry of Neptune, N.J. leading the audience in singing “God Bless America”. This event (IAMAHOF) has been described as “The Last Great Event of the Year” and the “Best Food in the Circuit”. With this in mind Dinner was served. Immediately after Dinner, the DJ began with “Music to Dance by”. Dancing ensued for an hour with a loaded dance floor. After dance-time, the IAMA Hall of Fame Awards and Inductions began. The impressive lineup of Martial Arts dignitaries read like a who’s who among the Pioneers and Legends of the various styles and types of Martial Arts.
