Leslie’s & Charlie's Student Game Is Back!!
Wednesdays, 12:30-3:00 PM at the United Methodist Church (UMC);
Our Student Game resumes this coming Wednesday (August 5) and will continue every
Wednesday all year long - A duplicate game only for students of Leslie or Charlie. Come join in the fun while gaining experience
in playing bridge. $10; no reservations needed. Contact us at slamhand@verizon.net or 301-977-0314 if you need a partner.
ALERT!!!!! We’re having a special student game on Wednesday, September 2nd
(12:30-3:00) to celebrate our students’ successes at the recent DC National Bridge Tournament. If you won a trophy
at the NABC, bring it with you to this game and play for FREE. (Limit one per player.) We’ll
have cake and refreshments and hope everyone will try to attend to congratulate all the winners. The game will be an Upgraded
Club Championship which means triple masterpoints at no extra charge.

New Novice/Intermediate Game in Potomac!
Saturdays, 1:00 - 4:00 (Lesson at 12:30)
A friend of ours, Mark Lavine, has a novice/intermediate level game in the Potomac area. If you have tried Charlie's
& Leslie's Student Game before and enjoyed it, you now have another opportunity to play. Here is the link

If you have already joined the ACBL, your points will be registered when we send our game files to the ACBL the first
week of each month.
If you are not an ACBL member, your masterpoints won in this game will not be officially "registered" until you join. We
will give you a paper receipt at the next game. If you are in fact a member and your membership number does not appear
near your name in the game file, please email me your membership number so I can reflect that in the game file before
it gets sent to ACBL at the beginning of next month.
IF YOU DO JOIN THE ACBL: Please let Charlie and Leslie do the paperwork for you - join through us, in other words.
We do not receive any monetary rebate, but they give us extra masterpoint game opportunities. We can have games that
give away double masterpoints at no additional charge based on our new members. Please don't forget!!
