Tips to Help You Organize Your Photos and Choose Your Memorabilia

- Give some thought as to the theme you would like your album to be (see suggested themes below)
- Choose photos that support the theme of your album.
- Vary your photos, choose some candid and some posed photos
- Choose photos that represent the personalities of the people involved or express the mood of the occasion
- Choose your favorite photos for the feeling they evoke in you, not necessarily for their photographic
excellence. Remember, most often a bad photo can be retouched enough to be used within your layout.
- Once you decide on which photos you would like to use, group them together by time, place, event, or
date
- Label each photo with a number on a post-it note. Using the Inventory Sheet detail the photo number
along with names, dates, places and the story behind the photo.
- Place all photos and Inventory Sheets in a large Ziploc bag, carefully pack in a box. Label the box
