Post to Blog...what an ominous statement! Not that anyone will read my 'Post'.
And if they do, I'll never know about it.
It's been a while since I have written. I have gotten caught up on a new web site (new to me) called PaperBackSwap.com.
I found it in December and since then have made the time to go in every room of my house and survey my bookshelves.
Look again at my picture, I am standing in front of one wall of books - this is in our television room. I have books
in my computer room, our guest bedroom, and our bedroom. So I thought I would go through them and decide what I didn't
think I would read again. Hard back and paper back! The woman at the post office must know me by sight by now
- I know our delivery mailman knows that I am into mailing out books! I just didn't think about all the books that I
would get in return. Trading books! That's what I have done. The fun part has been trading in Nora Roberts (one
of my favorite authors) paperbacks for hard cover books.
If you are interested in checking out this site go to PaperBackSwap.com and if you sign up please say that
jmmoss27@msn.com told you about it...I get a free book of my choice!
I have mentioned it to many folks but they are where I was, still in the collecting stage and not yet in
the trading stage. To some I guess it just seems too good to be true - the only cost is the postage to mail your books
to the person who requests them.
Anyway...
In July Moose and I are off to Tucson, Arizona. Our 2 oldest grandsons - Ryan (15) and Jeremy
(13) along with a friend, Joel - are going to the Nationals for the Assembly of God Teen Bible Quiz.
We are so very proud of them. They are from Ohio and have placed first in their 7 state region. This year
they have memorized the entire book of Acts. All questions come from this book. Nothing could make me more proud
of them. They are hiding the Word of the Lord in their hearts like I never did or could! I'll let you know how
they do when we get back.
