We welcome all articles that are square dance related. Due to space constraints, we would appreciate that articles be no longer than 3 pages in length. Page size is 7 inches by 4.5 inches. The articles are printed using 10 point Arrus. If articles are submitted by e-mail, please use standard margins for 8.5 x 11 paper. We will adjust the articles when they are placed in the magazine. We would appreciate receiving a follow-up hard copy so the text can be verified. Original hard copy that is typewritten or computer generated will be scanned. Discretion will be used in the acceptance, rejection or editing of articles.

We find photographs add interest to articles. However, if possible, send photographs that have a light background. Please identify all subjects in photograph, either on the back, or on a list, with the photographs labeled. All photographs will be returned when the issue is received from the printer.

All original artwork needs to be sent flat, not folded, with a cardboard backing. This makes scanning the ad easier, and eliminates costly touch ups. Please send black and white copies only. While we realize that many of you submit flyers, colored paper does not scan well. If you are using a watermark in your ad, please send the watermark and the ad on two separate sheets of paper. This should eliminate some of the problems we have had. Also, if photographs are used in the ads (on flyers), please be aware that these might not copy well. Plain line drawing and text works the best! If you want photographs used in your ad, please send them also. The photos will be returned when the magazine is received back from the printer.

Upcoming dances, weekends and conventions may be sent to for listing. This is a free service. The event must at least have a full time A-1 hall (or higher), and be of at least 2 days duration. Single day events will only be accepted with a paid advertisement.
