I did take 5 rolls of film - none of the pictures are great but I will scan some of them in. I spent time in Palermo, Taormina, Catania, Capri, Naples, Florence and Hannover (part of 2 days spent in Lubeck as well)

2 nights Palermo, 2 nights Taormina, next night on board the train to Naples, one night in Naples, 2 nights in Florence, 4 in Hannover, one night in Hamburg (closer to the airport)

The train from Taormina to Naples actually crossed the Straits of Messina on a boat, along with several other full size trains.
I actually got out and went on the deck with some other people (okay, it was some male sports team) during the crossing about 1:00 AM I guess my bunkmates were not impressed as they chose to sleep through the whole thing.
We had a little problem finding the right train after the crossing as they all looked alike and the "team leader" had forgotten the numbers and exact location of the train. I think we got back just in time.

Maybe I'll even scan in the police report from Palermo.
