Great 1961 film about Jesus, saw this film for the first time in South Africa at a Jehovah Witness gathering my
father used to attend at that time. Even though I was regular Catholic Sunday church attendee always with the rest of
my family, my father had swayed into the Jehovah sect and sometimes he took me along. They played this movie
on a half size screen like five feet wide and four or less feet long white screen in front of the attendees in that very
big hall they held the meetings.
This was way before television had even arrived in South Africa! So I was pretty excited about seeing this movie there
in that hall. I was so captivated by it, the clothes, the times, the places, the story of Jesus like I had never seen it before!
Got to see it again years later at the APF club. This movie was done in a Ten Commandments style, that 50s movie technicolor
just the best, giving it such artistic images like those we see in church or christian art.
Pretty decent job by the actor who played Jesus, it so could be true that Jesus did have blue eyes and a whiter appearance.
There is a lot of real white people with blue eyes in nearly all races, including the Jewish people. Great action scenes there
with Barabbas, always remembered it had a quite a bit of action in this film. This Jesus in this epic was the first I
ever saw on screen.
Still as I watch this today along with many Jesus productions including The Passion Of Christ that I watched before,
the one that is the best and untouchable is the mini series Jesus Of Nazareth! That mini series just is it, the
best! None have come close to Jesus of Nazareth.
Where it is opposite with Moses and The Ten Commandments, the technicolor 1950s classic is untouchable and no other production
to date has been able to capture the story and feel of Exodus of the bible and that time period as well as Cecil B. Demille's
The Ten Commandments! Franco Zeffirelli the director Jesus Of Nazareth probably would have a good shot given
the chance to do it.
This movie is probably second runner up to Jesus Of Nazareth! Jesus of Nazareth was just perfect, the acting, the story,
the locations, all star cast, very believable, wonder if it will ever be matched, doubt it! Check out my blog I did last year
on Jesus Of Nazareth, watch the mini series online.

Had been wanting to watch the following, had never seen it until now. Watch the animated The Prince Of Egypt depicting the life of Moses. Great animation, great stereo sound but it failed somewhat in the story telling and did
not capture the grandeur and emotion that was going on and what it is like to serve God.
It seemed a bit like the ABC miniseries on Moses a few years back, where Moses went around like he really didn't want
to be there. And certain things was downplayed when it should of been magnificent as the bible tells, horrible mini
series. But Prince Of Egypt is worth a watch, it's better than that mini series of Moses a few years back.
As for the King Of Kings, it was great seeing this again. Hollywood just don't make them like they used too, it's a shame.

The Return Of Jesus!
This weekend is Easter and all week long Jesus's much anticipated return to Jerusalem happened about 2008 years ago.
Not long after his return his enemies were plotting in secret his capture. Little did they know he knew it all and had told
his apostles before hand that he would die in Jerusalem. He also prophesied to his apostles as he stared out into Jerusalem
from a far. Including that, when people see all the armies in the world surrounding Jerusalem know that the time has
arrived, lift up your head because your redemption is near. Brings me to my observation that a lot of people are forgetting
regarding Jesus's return. That he will return tolerant and submit himself to his enemies like the first time around, very
sadly, sadly mistaken! This time he is coming to take what has been his all along, the true ruler and king of the earth to
rule forever and ever! He will come to battle with his mighty angels to do battle with all the armies and the Antichrist that
surround Jerusalem to do it harm. There will be blood spilled and them armies and Antichrist will be taken care of! If you
think Jesus will be like a Democrat like an Obama or a Hillary or a Pelosy, embracing Evil dictators and taking the troops
out of Iraq and let the terrorists have their way and attack Jewish people and ultimately after that Christians, you are dead
wrong! A lot of people that are not happy with Bush's policies and actions, no doubt will not be happy with Jesus, because
Jesus will do on a more grander scale what Bush has done. It amazes me, so many are blind to see that, that they will be caught
by surprise and be found on the wrong side when Jesus does return. His return will also be accompanied by punishments by God
to the earth, there will be earthquakes, fires, waters will be made bitter, one third of man will die with all plaques prepared
for the earth. It will be like never before on such a grand scale, lucky are those who have been taken before hand in the
rapture. It sure will be an amazing time as well as scary to be alive during that time. There will be such a commotion upon
the earth, that people will realize they are living within the bible, in bible times, the revelation will be happening before
their very eyes. I believe we have began to get a little taste of it with the events of 9/11! How many times did I hear broadcast
journalists during 9/11 and after like the one year anniversary at Ground Zero, make references to the bible and utter biblical
phrases. Like what was said at that anniversary, the howling wind is blowing as the names are being read, a setting almost
like in biblical events. What happened to the twin towers is what the Antichrist will do to all nations that appose him.
He will defeat many, but his attempt in the Holy land will fail, and this will bring his end, because the Savior stopped
him. Them who meant us harm on 9/11 will join up with the Antichrist and terrorize the world into submission. Hope that America
continues it's fight for the lord and stay on the right path and not submit as the democrats want to do. ABC plans to air
it's annual showing of The Ten Commandments Saturday night. Watched Jesus Of Nazareth on DVD last week, pretend to watch the
second part this Easter weekend, brilliant mini series! Happy Easter and I hope you find the joy and hope and faith in meditating
in his life this Easter. Jesus Christ, God who walked the earth and was with us and taught us the road to salvation.
He will return again and his reign will have no end, he shall rule forever and ever!

ABBA: Waterloo!

Click on picture to play video!
Note: Please wait until my website theme song is over before playing video.
Click here for slightly different version of this video. Wow, ABBA sure did some feel good music, this song a bit classic rock
'n' roll, great! I like Anni-Frid, she looks so hot and so cute singing and dancing. Every time I hear ABBA I am transported
back in time to South Africa, I remember the APF club, and other dance halls, and those times of my childhood growing
up there.
Great side shot in the video up top, Anni Frid looks so sexy there, she's awesome! A ABBA museum is scheduled to
open if not already, this year of maybe sometime next year. Check out the afros of them disco dancers in the beginning
of the video, black guy in the suit a riot, the way he is dancing.
Two things Sweden is famous for ABBA and Heidi! The book, movies, but especially the famous Japanese animation series
which did an extraordinary job of animating the locales of the Swedish landscape and mountains.
ABBA did some great songs that the world has ever heard. Their presence and performances always great to watch. Them videos
excellent, not the over the top, big budgeted videos we have today. These days girl or boy groups dance if they were gymnasts
and too over the top, ABBA did it just right!
Check out Björn Ulvaeus's costume, he looks like a superhero in it, black and white, put some white make up and he fits
right in as a member of the rock band KISS. He looks cool! He always looks the most cheerful and so happy, they all do, but
him a little bit more.
Rather watch these two dancing than any
other girl dancers of today in
videos
Another great side shot!
Benny giving them stares, happy while
playing the piano
Björn Ulvaeus singing, having a good time
Look real life Veronica and Betty, except
no spoiled rich girl there,
Anni Frid I choose!
Look at that guitar Björn has, nice video!
It's Super ABBA Man!
ABBA save the world! Björn's
cape, reminds
me of the Super
Bomb Pop ice cream!
And now a must watch, Benny standing and dancing for the first time I ever seen! Check out those dance moves
with the feet with them bell bottoms, hilarious! And look at Björn, looks like he's ready for bed with that get up.
ABBA gave the world some great music during the greatest decade, the 70s. If I had a time machine,
the first decade I would visit!

Amy singing on stage in Circle
Of Love
Great film, that 70s motion picture sure plays well on the Internet, check out the video. Plays excellent on the YouTube
full screen feature also! This documentary feature film captures the early on faith of Amy Grant, I like a lot of what she
sais through out the film. Most of all, God's plan for her life, and she goes on about how sometimes it turns out different
than what we expect.
Wow, on Amazon they say this was released in 1982. So it was probably shot in 81, I was like 13 and going to Junior High
School when this was being filmed. Amy Grant was 21 years old, oh my God, that's amazing! Looking at her then, and all she
went onto, breaking into the pop mainstream in the mid 80s and then the 90s was all about Amy Grant.
Amy so stunningly beautiful as always!
She hasn't changed all that much from these early days from her career in this film to the present. Sure looks like she
was tapping into the fountain of youth even back then, incredible! Enjoyed watching this, it was great!

A Message about my website theme song! If you can not hear it, it's probably because of an MPEG video update plug
in that you acquired for your QuickTime Player! Try reinstalling your QuickTime Player, if that don't fix it try uninstalling
it for the meanwhile! Another cause maybe is that RealPlayer is your default player, make sure it is not.
