Cool, very cool video! Great song, my second favorite off the Adrenalize album. Great shots of classic movie clips
here and there along with the band. Great set, I remember the first time I watched this back then in the early 90s, just thought
this video was so awesome! They are just the best, Def Leppard is a super and dynamite band, love this music!
My favorite albums is Hysteria and Adrenalize and Euphoria and also X was pretty good. Must include Pyromania, even though
I wasn't into Def Leppard full force when that came out. I was into Cheap Trick back then in my Junior High School days when
I was thirteen or fourteen years old.
But I do remember seeing Def Leppard on MTV and enjoying watching them videos from those Pyromania days. At school, the
girls were into Joe Elliott, they all thought he looked much better with blonde hair than the High 'N' Dry days when he had
the dark and curly hair. Little did I know then that this band would become my favorite band of all time and that they
would be such a great force in music.
This would happen years later when I was nineteen years old. Started listening to Hysteria and then went and see them,
they were great. In 1992, Adrenalize came out and it was great, it reminds me of the summers of the early 90s, the concerts,
and the people I knew then, and the cruising, also Riverside Park, wow.
Joe Elliott has gotten into a feud with Bret Michaels of Poison, it involves Joe labeling Poison as a glam band and so
on. Bret didn't take to kind to it and let the press know it in a press conference. I am on Joe's side, that's my boy. Def
Leppard was the real deal, all those 80s bands, Poison, Warrant, Ratt, were all imitators of that Leppard sound.
They were good, especially Ratt whom had some originality than the others but also similar and second best
to the Leppard sound. But that is the way music pretty much has been through history, like when Elvis
came out and then we had a few others sounding a bit like his music. Yep, Def Leppard has been performing Mirror Mirror
in concert, they had never performed it in concert before, wow! Always thought it was such a great song, love singing it.
I also remember singing it with my nephew and niece back in the mid 90s
Joe

A year or two ago, Elliott still
rocks!

Albums
Check out this picture from the Hysteria days!
The late 80s, Joe Elliott looking
like he
woke up there
Def Leppard a year or two back during Yeah days!
Now back to Make Love Like A Man video, that part where Phil Collen sings is awesome. I believe the only time he ever
did that other than of course singing in the chorus of many Leppard songs. Another awesome part, Don't call me gigolo, don't
call me Casanova, just call me on the phone and baby come on over, when you need someone, when you need someone to.
And now my second favorite song off the Pyromania album Def Leppard - Photograph. Great video and song, second song I like to sing a lot after Rock Of Ages from the Pyromania album. Bigger version

Def Leppard is currently touring for their new album Songs From The Sparkle Lounge that charted high and gotten great
reviews and radio play. Def Leppard is my favorite band of all time!

Songs From The Sparkle Lounge!
This week I caught up with a few movies on Comcast On Demand that I had not seen before. Robin Williams in RV and
Jim Carey in Fun With Dick And Jane. Both quite funny, as for vacation movies Chevy Chase still reigns supreme, RV a
family on vacation type movie had it's own originality and charm though. A while back I saw the Postman with Kevin Costner
and I was charmed by this movie. Kevin Costner becomes like a President George Washington all over again in a post nuclear
war world. It reminded me of George W. Bush and our struggle for freedom with the terrorists. Them Democrats should see this
film and learn, get to see oppression at it's worst and how we all would be under a Evil world regime like that of Al Qaeda.
And then get to see the will and power of a great man played by Costner's character taking them head on. Beautiful film,
a must see, great ending contributing to the beauty of this film. Great actress Olivia Williams, had not seen her before,
she was great with Costner in this film. At the end of credits, I was listening to the music and I said to myself,
I know this great voice of the female that's singing. And shortly there after, I realized it was Amy Grant! It's a duet
love song for the movie's soundtrack sung by Amy Grant and Kevin Costner, didn't even know he could sing. So nice bonus there
at the end of the movie, perfect. Found out Costner is a Republican, suspected it so, doubt a Democrat could be part of something
so great and beautiful. Listen to the awesome song on YouTube You Didn't Have To Be So Nice. Kevin is a pretty good singer, who knew? A few weeks ago I got Def Leppard's new Album CD Songs From The Sparkle
Lounge. At first listening to it, I was like, oh no, not another Retroactive like album. It sounded a bit grunge and missing
that awesome Def Leppard drum sound and other great sounds. Like also the album Slang, Def Leppard had digressed back again
into that bad dream, and soon I will wake up and a even newer album will be out and Leppard is back to that awesome sound.
Now let's go back even further to a month or something before I bought the album. I was driving around and heard this song
on the radio and it sounded a bit country. Then twenty minutes later, I went to the Cumberland Farms gas station and the lady
clerk had the same song playing loud in the store. Wait a minute, that's Def Leppard, no way I thought to my self. I realized
it was, it was Nine Lives a new single off their new album, a collaboration with country star Tim McGraw. Found out Leppard
was getting a lot of radio play all over the country with that song and was getting good reviews on that song and it's album
from radio stations and music critics. It seemed like the 80s and early 90s, Def Leppard was back on the big scene on a big
scale, that hadn't happened since the Adrenalize album in the early 90s. The album went on to debut at no 5 right behind
Mariah Carey's album on the pop billboard charts! The last time that happened to Def Leppard was with Adrenalize in the early
90s. Leppard was always a pop billboard charts magnet from the High N Dry to Pyromania earlier albums in the early 80s
to the biggest one Hysteria in the late 80s and of course the last time they charted so high there with Adrenalize
in the early 90s. Joe Elliott the lead singer is puzzled, he sais, we have been putting out great albums to this day, we decide
to strip this one down and it sounds like 70s hard rock and it's success is enormous. About the song Nine Lives, Tim
McGraw and his wife Faith Hill are huge Def Leppard devotees, McGraw initiated the duet to Def Leppard after he
joined them on stage performing Pour Some Sugar On Me. So going back to when I am finally listening to the album on a nice hot
summer day afternoon, by the sixth song they started getting better even though that great Leppard sound not really there.
Was into it, by the time it got to the song Bad Actress, I was lovin' it. When finished listening to the entire CD, I started
it from the beginning and now was enjoying almost all of the songs probably minus one, that will remain a secret. Listen to
samples of songs from the album on Amazon.com. I remember with Euphoria and Adrenalize I liked them albums more quickly because of that great Def Leppard sound.
Anyhow, Songs From The Sparkle Lounge has almost like a Live performance sound, like Van Halen sounds in their records,
especially that Van Halen's drum sound which sounds flat and works well for them but I beg to differ for Def Leppard. So missing
is the electronic gadgetry and that awesome earth chattering stereo sounding drums in Def Leppard music. Still, sounding so
bare them songs as they are they win you over and are better than any other music out there in the music industry. I guess
they were riding the high off the success of Yeah a few years ago where they had to sound like so to do them 70s cover
songs in that album. With the latest success they have been havin', I just hope very soon they try and go back to the
sound that I like them best with, where they spawned great albums like Hysteria and Adrenalize. Def Leppard's Joe Elliot has
gotten into a feud with Bret Michaels from Poison, I 'll have more on that in a couple of weeks. And today's youngest and
most popular country star Taylor Swift is a huge Def Leppard devotee and is teaming up with Def Leppard to do a episode
of CMT Crossroads this fall. Favorite songs from the CD Songs From The Sparkle Lounge are Cmon, Cmon, Bad Actress, Nine Lives,
and Tomorrow, and Go is pretty good too! Def Leppard performed on the high rated prime time show Dancing With The Stars. Check
out their Live performance on that show Nine Lives! Wow, always thought Def Leppard was good to dance to, so this was good for them. That was the version without McGraw. And
here is their performance of Pour Some Sugar On Me on DWTS. Looks like the good old times, Def Leppard on the radio and on TV, big time, high on the charts, it's been
awesome so far. Hot summer days with Def Leppard, but it was the wintry days of 1988 that Leppard enjoyed their biggest success
with Hysteria. I guess it feels a bit more like Adrenalize days, more summery then and kickin' it to songs like Let's
Get Rocked and Make Love Like A Man. So I was pretty happy with Songs From The Sparkle Lounge, awesome!

Amy Grant: Lucky One!

Nice looking video and good song! Her videos are always fun and nice to watch. Great scenes and nice locations in the
video. She's awesome, few good things came out of the 90s, but one great great thing to come out was, Amy Grant's greatest
successful period of her career.
Amy Grant released Lead Me On 20th Anniversary CD and has gotten a lot of attention from critics and from the music
industry people. She's added more September dates for her Lead Me On Anniversary Tour promoting the CD. I wonder when she
will do one of her most successful albums Hearts In Motion, if she has not done it already.
That album Hearts In Motion was her most successful album of all time that had the hits like Baby Baby and Good For Me!
I would like to see her do anniversary albums of Unguarded or Age To Age, her most earlier work. I like them songs
better and the way she looked during those days the most.
Amy Grant still looks great today and to me she's still the best. Caught on YouTube her performance on Letterman
back in the 80s. Never seen this, or probably did but do not recall. Wow, in the interview after the song, you can tell she
don't like Letterman as he is talking to her. Nice conservative woman, wonder what she would think of him today?
Missing is her band, Shaffer's band no match for Amy Grant's awesome band from that time.
Nice shot of Amy chillen out at that
place
She really has a lot of fun
in her videos!
I wish I was at that beach, with her of course!
Of all the new singers of today and of yesterday none compare to Amy Grant, she's the best. I will take Amy Grant any
day over any other. Her Christian faith and her remarkable career is so great, Amy did it the right way. I love watching her
in videos and interviews and so on, she's so gorgeous, charming woman and that awesome country accent of hers, wow!
People like Amy Grant and Tom Brady is really what is great about living in this country. Amy Grant is one of America's
best national treasures, great singer and such a beautiful woman. Amy Grant is my favorite female singer of all time!

Patriots U.S.A. Freedom Fighters! (Join)
This week, George W. Bush got what he wanted, legislation for continued surveillance of suspected E-mail and phone calls
relating to terrorism. And immunity to phone and E-mail companies from being sued. Awesome! For all the naysayers who are
shouting privacy and the bill of rights issues and are against the President, people better take a step back. Them soldiers
in Iraq and Afghanistan and also the CIA agents in many secret missions to combat terrorism, these people are putting
the lives on the line. At least what we all can do is give up a few necessities (not freedoms), so we can all also be fighters
against terrorism and get behind the greatest commander in chief this nation has ever seen. It's time to be a Patriot if one is
not one already. Bush is awesome, with all this opposition from a Democratic congress, he just continues to do what most seemed
impossible when these Dummycrats took over congress. Well from the get go this President has been hit with events that
never happened before, and has risen with success against great odds. But so did Moses from the Exodus of the bible, a figure
I like to compare Bush with, and am not alone, numerous people and even Bush's preacher made such a comparison. I have encountered
some that quote Benjamin Franklin's words, give me liberty or give me death, to stop the Patriot Act. As great as Benjamin
Franklin was, he could not foresee the telephone and the electronic age of today. If he was alive today, he would be a Patriot
and be a supporter of the Patriot Act. Because death is what the world will get if these terrorists get their way and especially
if they get their hands on a nuclear bomb or nuclear missiles. Also this week, the Republicans push for major oil drilling
in this country and the Democrats being the over the top environmentalists are trying to delay it. Democratic Nancy Pelosy
the house speaker has been trying to duck and blame this one and that one to avoid legislation for such a cause,
she knowing very well that even some Democrats have joined the Republicans on this one. That's been Nancy's
tactics all along, she lied and lied about Iraq and a host of other issues and blamed the President and doing so
along with her democratic buddies to gain congress, and have been pulling the same bull for these last four years. Also happening,
that crazy idiot in Iran, Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad ordered and went ahead with some missile tests and continues
his Israel hate talk. Don't these idiots get it, that faith and the Holy Land is the stabilizer of the world. When there is
aggression talk or action taken against the Holy Land, the world suffers, stock markets get low, even oil prices sky rocket.
It's true what former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu sais, Iran has to be stopped. I say, the world should get together
and take this guy out one way or the other, he's gotta go like Saddam had to go, Hitler and so on. If America was not engaged
in two battle's right now, the United States alone would take care of him. But do not push this President he might just do
the unexpected and go after this criminal, Bush is good at that, hunting criminals all over the world. Iran is a major issue
for the next President and surely Iran's nuclear ambitions will have to be stopped. Just Ahmadinejad's anti Israel talk is
enough to call for a plot to cause a regime change, or remove the bastard by force courtesy of the United States military
and air force and marines, all three the most powerful in the world. They will be coming for him by land, by sea, by air,
he will know as Saddam began to get a sense somehow in that psychotic mind of his when they came for him, that the United
States is a protector of Israel and is a nation under God. God Bless America! And now onto other things, what's good on television?
Have been watching iCarly more frequently, at first didn't like it that much. Drake And Josh was so great and I thought iCarly
was just so lacking. iCarly is from the same producer of Drake And Josh. Find out more about iCarly on Wikipedia.com. Miranda Cosgrove who played the evil sister Megan in Drake And Josh was good in that role.
In iCarly she being now the star of the new show, her new character isn't as good as it was on Drake And Josh, but then
again that character Megan is a tough act to follow. It's the co stars Freddie and Sam that really is the charm. Freddie is
like a teenage Tom Brady, looks like him. And Sam played by Jennette McCurdy looks like Amy Grant so much, if her hair was
brown she would look like her even more. Great kids, great show, better than the shows on the major networks!
