Jug Bay Market Garden is a small family farm in Upper Marlboro,
Maryland, just 20 miles from Washington,
DC. We grow a wide variety of vegetables, cut flowers, herbs and berries. We also supply
flowers for parties and weddings.
For the latest farm news, you can click over to our blog, the Jug Bay Gleaner and follow us on Facebook . You can
also follow the world of co-manager Tanya Tolchin on her blog On the Lettuce Edge.
We only use natural pest and disease controls and manage our soils
using cover crops and other sustainable agricultural practices. We do not use synthetic fertilizers or pesticides.
Our produce is available through a CSA subscription that serves
people living on Capitol Hill and near the farm. The CSA is a multi-farm CSA where we grow much of the food and
also include food from other farms very close to Washington.
We are now signing members up for the 2012 CSA season. The first share distribution should be in early May. We hope you join us!
