AOH Montgomery Co. Division 3

Community Service

The AOH, Irish Brigade 116 PVI, Division 3 of Montgomery County is an Irish Catholic Fraternal Organization based in central and western Montgomery County. Our primary focus is to promote Friendship, preserve Unity and practice Christian Charity. As a service to our community, we are active in the following events:

• Sponsor the Adopt-A-Highway program along Route 113 in Trappe, Pennsylvania
Provide financial assistance to individuals and families in need including financial assistance to local families during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.
Support the annual Hibernian Hunger Project
Participant at the annual Sacred Heart Parish Summer Festival
Participant at the annual Conshohocken Saint Patrick's Day Parade
Participant at the annual Jim Thorpe Saint Patrick's Day Parade
Participant at the annual Girardville Saint Patrick's Day Parade
Participant at the annual Collegeville Halloween Parade
Participant at the annual Oreland Independence Day Parade
Participant at the annual Montgomery County Scottish I Irish Festival
Sponsor the Crusader Award at Saint Eleanor's Parish School
Sponsor annual events and parties throughout Montgomery County
Provide educational information to local school districts regarding our Irish heritage
We seek to prevent defamation of Irish and Catholic traditions
Sponsor an annual family trip to the Reading Phillies
Our Division families participate in Irish dance competitions throughout the United States
Support the Civil War Battlefield Preservation Trust
Support Civil War re-enactors and educators
