Delaware Tech Students
Why spend your time stuffed into a small gazebo puffing away on that cigarette, or idling time at Wal-Mart when you can
catch some of the biggest films of the year on the big screen at the Movie Matinee? Seriously, tell me now!
Come celebrate Black History Month with two special limited-time screenings. We will first
screen the politically charged Aparthied thriller Catch a Fire on Monday and Tuesday, Feb. 12
and 13. We will follow that up with the critically acclaimed Akeelah and the Bee, starring
Laurence Fishbure and Angela Bassett on Tuesday and Wednesday, Feb. 27 and 28. All screening, as always,
are FREE and begin at 12:30 p.m. Please click on the image above and feel free to print it and distribute
it to someone you love (or at the very least someone who will go to the screening)!

For the Student Film Group Members
For the next few months, the Student FIlm Group will look
at cinematic comedy throughout the ages. What is funny to you? What makes us laugh? How does it differ throughout the
decades?
We will analyze some of the most notable funnymen and women through the last few decades, continuing
our way through the 1970s, with the heavey metal mockumentary This is Spinal Tap on Wednesday,
March 21at 6 p.m. at the Movies and Midway.
Come join us as we begin our cinematic comedic crusade on Wednesday, March 21 with:
This is Spinal Tap!
After seeing the film...
OK, we've watched the film, you've scribbled lots of things in your notebooks, but you woke up and remembered a couple
of things you wanted to say. No problem. Shoot us an email with your additional thoughts or comments. Just make sure to make
a reference of the film you say and please place your name in the email, so that we can give you credit.
