 Chinese Acupuncture

The root of all disease originates from a blockage or interruption of the flow of vital energy through the physical or emotional body. This includes pain, systemic disease and emotional illness including stress and addictions. Where there is no flow, there is no life.
By restoring this flow to all parts of the body, acupuncture can heal disease, restore vitality, relieve pain and create a greater sense of well being. In essence, we return to the way nature intended us to be.

Chinese Herbs

Chinese Herbal Medicine evolved over 4000 years ago.Chinese herbology lies at the root of the other branches of Oriental Medicine.  It is an ancient empirical science and art.
Today many doctors of Oriental Medicine use Chinese herbal formulas to help a variety of symptoms but also to maintain health and prevent illness.
Often times herbs are recommended to the patients on an as needed basis for the enhancement of the acupuncture treatment. They support the physiological functions of the body in the interval between acupuncture sessions.
At Wellspring, we select herbal formulas based on your unique condition and constitution.
Often times herbs are recommended to the patient to enhance the power of the acupuncture treatment. They support the physiological functions of the body and create an overall momentum within the healing process.

In our practice we use only patented and FDA approved herbal medicines.  We work primarely with Chinese herbal formulas, but we also use Ayurvedic herbs, and some basic dietary supplements.
