Do I have to pay a registration fee?
There
is no registration fee of any kind. Once you have found the candidate of your choice, there is a placement fee. This is a
one-time fee. For more details, please contact us.
What happens after I register?
After
you have registered, and we have a completed profile we will contact you to discuss your requirements in more detail and to
answer any questions or offer any advice.
What is the average age of your candidates?
Most
of our candidates are in their mid-twenties, thirties and forties, some are older, married and have raised their own children.
Who are your candidates?
We
represent the most professional, experienced and loyal staff one can find. All candidates must have a minimum four years of
experience at the position they are applying. All candidates that come through A.B.L.E Domestic Employment Agency use English
fluently as a native or as a second language. A large number of our applicants are of Brazilian/Portuguese/Spanish & European
descend, most have a university degree or minimally they are high school graduates.
How
many hours can we expect a household employee to work?
On
average, a household employee will work eight to ten hours per day although this is negotiable, however you might want to
discuss this issue and have a common agreement before commencement of employment.
Where do you place?
The
majority of our clientele is residing through out New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania. We often find placements outside the tri-state area.

How do you find your candidates?
Over
the years, the word of mouth has been proven to be the most effective search tool. We receive most of our best candidates
through referrals. This gives us the ability to represent the most impressive candidates. In addition we recruit within the
Portuguese/Brazilian/Spanish community, we know most candidates, even before they apply with us.
How long will it take to find somebody for me?
It
usually takes 1-3 weeks, depending on your schedule. It's best to start the process about 3 weeks before you actually need
somebody to begin working with you. After reviewing your needs, we will start presenting prospective candidates for you to
interview. We encourage you strongly that once you've met someone you are interested in, it is important to let her and us
know you're interested. Otherwise, someone else might hire our candidate in the meantime.

The
checking process begins with an extensive face-to-face interview at our office to evaluate prospect applicants. All references
are contacted and verified prior to presentation. We conduct Criminal background checks prior to consider a prospect applicant
