4/25/09 - At 43,500 words, the
story is about 95% complete. I have some heavy-duty editing remaining so we're still looking at at least a couple more
weeks before it is posted.
4/7/09 - The story is up to 36k words,
or about 80% complete.
3/29/09 - The story is up to 33k words, or about 75% complete. I may not have much time
to write the next two weeks, however; I start an on-call rotation tomorrow and that can get pretty hairy.
3/20/09 - The
story is at 29k words, or about 70% complete. I hit some major writer's block this past week, but have recovered.
3/11/09 - Not much to report. The story is sitting at about 25k words, or about 60% complete.

I was reviewing FanFiction.Net's
posting guidelines and realized this story may not be suitable for publication on their server. As written, Bowing
Out Gracefully would carry a rating of MA (Mature Adult), which the site does not allow. I'll have to think about
how to handle this: Forget the story, chop out the steamy parts, or find some other place to post it. I'll keep you
posted.
