Hello and welcome to my versatile Border Collie site. We live in the northern Poconos of Pike County Pennsylvania with our Border Collies, Indian Runner Ducks and goats. Holding down a full time job and caring for our animals prevents us from competing on a regular basis, so we are proud of the titles our dogs earn from the few trials they enter.

I started "in dogs" over 30 years ago with my rough Collie, entering our first obedience trial in 1969. We have since competed in obedience, agility, tracking, herding and sled-dog races.

Border Collies are not a breed for everyone. They need a job to do and it's not lying around being a "watch dog", and they are not a pet for small children. When they get bored they become creatively destructive. As you can see, our Border Collies are kept busy. If you don't have time in your life to work with a Border Collie and make it a constant companion in everything you do, then this is not the breed for you.

NOTE: Due to the number of unwanted dogs in shelters, we do not breed regularly. Please always consider adoption if you are looking for a house pet.
