Here are this week's and last week's assignments:

Week of November 23, 2009
  • If the $35 for the field trip is not in on Monday, it's overdue.  Please bring it in before Thanksgiving break.

Your homework this short week is to finish the first draft of your espository essay.  It's due the Tuesday we return from Thanksgiving break.  Some things to keep in mind:
  •    Only one exclamation point allowed in the paper.
  •    If you have used information from another source, enclose the quotation in quotes and credit the source by inserting the short website behind the information in parentheses.  Example:

"It is by turns aloof and affectionate, serene and savage, endearing and exasperating. Despite its mercurial nature, however, the house cat is the most popular pet in the world" (www.scientific american.com).
