“The
Wildes” are John and Cathy Wilde, a husband and wife duet who specialize in Irish Folk Music in the Western New York
area.
“The Wildes”
feature tight harmonies and wide ranging vocal abilities with high energy acoustic guitar, tin whistle and various
percussion instruments specifically the bodhran. The Wildes entertain their audiences
musically and connect with them personally.
We perform
over 100 songs including Irish songs of rebellion and peace, classic heartfelt ballads, contemporary Irish folk tunes and
the always enjoyable Irish drinking songs.

occassionally perform as a trio, having added Matt Schroeder, a guitarist and vocalist from the Buffalo area. Matt brings his superior musicianship and well traveled experience to enhance our
sound and musical variety.
