Our Mission Statement

It is the mission of the VOA of Annawon Council to work with local Boy and Girl Scout Troops, community groups and the business community to organize, support, and build successful Coed Venturing Crews within the Annawon Council. To provide quality values-based character education for the youth of the Annawon Council. The Values that we strive to instill are based on those found in the Venturing Oath and Scout Scout law.We the Venturing High Council want to grow as a group of individuals and to provide team-building opportunities, new meaningful experiences, practical leadership applications, and most of all to learn to always seize the day. To widen our horizons and experience high adventures that we could not otherwise do. To have all minds cooperating to achieve new goals, while learning new skills

Our Goals

To build Coed Venturing Crews in the Annawon Council

To plan Venturing events

To bring a week long Venturing Camp to Camp Norse

To plan super activities

To promote advancement and training for both youth and adult advisors

To hold courts of honor for both youth and adult advisors

To increase communication between the crews, the council, and the community

To help and support each other to build the best programs possible

To bring Corps of Discovery to Annawon Council
