just a few months late.   had a long weekend that's gone by too fast. 

 

I definately need to get rid of lots of junk.  I don't have any room to work.  Since it wasn't windy today, I worked outside for a bit.  Spread the hay out to dry.  Tomorrow I'll throw a tarp over it.  Finally turned one of the compost heaps.  Lots of fungi growing in there. Hopefully its all beneficial.  Found some frozen spots and the ground was really hard in places.  I know its near the end of November, but I'm still kind of surprised since we've had such warm weather.  Even the dandylions look a bit frost bitten today. Surprisingly though, there's still marjoram that's been untouched by the frosts, and I picked some lemon time with the most incredibly intense fragrance.  Thought it would be totally tasteless by now. Dug up some sunchokes and will make up a recipe I found on the web. I found a few actually and some look really good.  Especially the one served with lobster, LOL.
