Lesson Rates & Costs:

-1/2 Hour $25, 45 Minutes $35 1 Hour $40 (First lesson is free)

-Materials for all lessons will be provided at cost, and every attempt will be made to minimize expenses.

-Lesson discounts are available to families with more than one student.  Discount is relative to lesson length.

Payment:

-Payment is accepted via cash, check, or money order. 


-Lessons must be paid at the first lesson of each month for that month.  Please keep in mind that some months may have 5 weeks of lessons, depending on how the days fall. 
  Check with the teacher about lesson scheduling around holidays, as some school holidays will still be a teaching day (ex. Teacher In-service, Election Day, etc.).

- If payment is not made on time, there will be no lesson on that day, and the day will be considered a no call/no show, and will not be made up.

Scheduling:

-Every effort will be made to schedule lessons at the most convenient time for both of us.  


-Any lessons cancelled by the teacher will be made up at the earliest agreed time.  If the lesson cannot be made up within the month following the cancellation, the lesson will be credited to the next billable month.  Refunds will not be given.


-Lessons cancelled by the student less than 24 hours before the lesson time or “no call/no shows” will not be made up.


-Lessons cancelled by the student more than 24 hours before lesson time may be re-scheduled at an agreed time.  If these cancellations become frequent and burdensome, the teacher reserves the right to refuse to reschedule.         

-It is the student or student's parent's responsibility to maintain accurate contact information including address, phone number, cell phone, and email address(es) with the teacher.  This is to ensure notification can be made of schedule changes or cancellations. 

Referral Program - Current students that refer another student will earn one month of free lessons upon the completion of 6 months of lessons by the person referred.

Termination of Lessons:

-The student or teacher may terminate lessons at any time without cause.

-The student will have the right to any additional lessons that have been pre-paid.

-Pre-paid lessons will only be refunded if the teacher is unable to provide the remaining lessons.

Video/Audio Recording and Use of Media:  Students are encouraged to either videotape or tape record their lessons for reference at home, and to document progress.  The teacher may at times record lessons for educational purposes, and these recordings may be shared with other teachers.  When recordings are made, copies will be provided to the student or parent if requested at cost.  If any media product from lessons or performances will be used for purposes other than furthering the education of the student or the teacher, separate specific permission will be sought.
