The 2007 Kadlub Family Reunion
Was held July 19-22 at Presque Isle Country Inn
Fairview, PA (near Erie)
Saturday, July 21, 2007
Saturday Morning and Afternoon
Many family members had breakfast at the motel between 8:00 and 10:30 AM.
Who was that dashing down the hallway at 10:26 AM? (Could it have been Vince Kane making
sure he and Phyllis got breakfast?)
Activities for the day included:
-
Golf Outing at Beechwood County Club (planned by Len and Jeff Kadlub)

Outlings to Presque Isle and Chatauqua Lake by various family members.

Many of the young family members went swimming in the motel pool
Joanne and Len Kadlub treated the stay-at-homers to lunch at the pool.
Saturday Evening
5:30 - Family group photos outdoors by Denny Marek; Bernie Kadlub and others.
6:00 - Banquet. Each adult was given a bottle of wine with a Kadlub Family label
designed by Joie Filaski
Sharon Benedetti told us the agenda for
the evening and introduced the
committee members and pages.
Phyllis Kane read a Polish blessing provided
by Joann Eisner
Uncle Joe and Aunt Idella led us in saying
grace.
After our meal:
Shannon presented certificates she created and a keepsake ornament created by Joann Eisner to the following:
- Most senior attendee - Albina Marek
- Youngest - Griffin Filaski
- Traveled the furthest - Bobbie and Charlie Messenger (John Kadlub Family)
- Traveled the furthest - Janice and George Klimiades (Albert Kadlub Family) (Janice and George were
unable to attend because of their mom, Doris Kadlub's health)
- First to respond - Mike Kadlub (John Kadlub Family)
- First to respond - Linda Kadlub (Albert Kadlub Family)
- Descendent with most children - Joann and Ed Eisner
- Newest member to the family - Chris Zydel (honorable mention - Patty Girardi Kadlub, Rob Paciorek)
- Traveled shortest distance - Joanne and Len Kadlub
