Welcome to the world of the Mystery Kids!
The Mystery Kids is an exciting new series of mysteries for young readers
that will go beyond the old sterotypes of Native American history and culture to bring young readers where few have ever been,
inside the daily lives of children growing up on the Cheyenne Reservation. Set in the present day, you will see how families
balance the demands of the modern world with traditions passes through countless generations.
The stories are centered around Joey Redwolf,
a young traditonal boy who has cerebral palsy and is in a wheelchair.
Joey loves the nature, and struggles to overcome the simple things like getting around in his efforts to enjoy life's simple
things. Disliking the fast pace of modern life, he turns to his grandfather, an elderly medicine man and retired army
doctor, to teach him about the old ways. As Joey studies the old ways though the loving guidance of his grandfather, he quickly
finds that the old ways have many lessons to teach him about life, even in the fast paced modern world. Each story in
the series will explore another lesson of the old ways, in an emotion filled journey of mystery and wonder.
