Are ring slings safe?
 - When used correctly and responsibly then you have nothing to worry about. The fabric is quite durable and the rings we use are tested at over 250lbs of weight so rest assure that your child is safe! Visit www.slingrings.com to learn more about the rings we use.

At what age can I put my child in the sling?
-You can put your child in it at birth and it will do wonders for both you and your child. It will decrease your chances of getting postpartum depression by increasing your progesterone levels through the contact with your child and it will help with breastfeeding. Your baby will also be calmer and not cry as much since it has all it needs right next to them.

When will my child be too big for the sling?
-Around the time your child is about 30 - 35 pounds is a good time to stop wearing them.

How do I clean my sling?
-If your sling gets dirty (and more than likely it will) you can just simply toss it in the washer and afterwards hang it up to dry. Be sure to unthread it before washing.

Here's how I do it: I wash my sling usually on cold with a small amount of detergent. Then I hang up my sling on an hook that goes over the door. You can also place your sling on the clothesline or over the shower curtain rod.

My baby cries everytime I put her in the sling, is this normal?
-At first some babies are uncomfortable with being in the slings so work them a little everyday until they become more accustom to it. They usually like it better when you move around with them in it so keep that in mind as well.

What are the details about the payment option?
-The payment option was set up to make purchasing a sling easier for you and your wallet. This is how it works: you will purchase your sling in 2 payments, each payment being $24.00 which will equal $48.00. The first $24.00 is nonrefundable. After placing your order you will have 30 days to pay off the second half. I will not send out your sling until you have paid the second half. Now, if you can not pay off the sling in 30 days then please email me and we can work something out but if I don't hear from you then I keep your sling.

What are the shipping charges?
-Shipping is free.

How long until I receive my sling?
-Most orders will be shipped out with 7-10 days, although it could take as long as 3 weeks. A lot of things factor into it: availability of supplies, how much my son will let me work, how far I'm behind on orders. But I will do my best to get your order to you as soon as I can!

What is your return policy?
-You may return or exhange your sling within 30 days of receiving it. However, you will need to send back the packaging it came in along with the receipt, there can be no damage, holes, stains, or pet hair to/on the sling. Basically, if you want to send the sling back it must be in the same condition in which you received it.

Can I send you my own fabric for you to make a sling for me?
-Of course you can! I would be happy to do that, just email me and we can arrange everything. The cost of doing this will be $20.00.

Why do I need to override my cookies so I place an order?
-By overriding the cookies it helps PayPal keep track of your purchase order and information (don't worry, no one will see it, not even me). These cookies are temporary and are gone when you close you browser. If you would like more information about overriding cookies click here.

Here are a few extra things:

- Use common sense when using your ring sling, don't try any position your not familiar with or that your or your child aren't ready to try.

- The chance of your sling breaking is VERY slim. I use only products I trust and I make the slings as if I were going to put my son in it. I use regular thread for the hemming and pocket, but for the sewing around the rings I use upholstery/heavy thread, which is very strong in my opinion. I also use linen or linen blend fabric, which I find to be quite sturdy but not too thick, so you or your baby don't get too hot.

- These slings are made to order, meaning they are not premade; I make them when you order them.

- When you first receive your sling it will seem a bit startched. The fabric will soften as you wear it more.

- I prewash the fabric before I sew the slings to minimize strinkage. If you prefer I do not wash yours then please send an email when you make your purchase to tell me otherwise.

- If you need the length of the sling to be shorter or longer than what I have to offer then just email me and I will be glad to accommodate you!

- Currently, in the pictures on the website you see a fanned designed for the slings (where the rings are) but when you receive your sling it will be a different design where the weight is more evenly distributed so it doesn't put as much strain on your shoulders.
