Before putting on your sling you want to decide which side you want to wear it on. Usually you want to have
it on the same side as the hand that you write with, i.e. if your right handed then you want it on your right side.
Since I'm right handed then the following steps are for putting it on the right side - if your left handed
then just reverse the directions.
Put your left arm through the sling and continue to pull it over your head.

Rest the sling on your right shoulder and position the rings where you would place a corsage. Putting the
rings too high or on your shoulder will result in discomfort for you and putting the rings too low will not leave much room
for you to put the baby in. I usually have my rings a little below my collar bone but not on the bone.

Now that you have your sling on you want to make sure you have the fabric adequately spread out on your
back - having it bunched up will also be rather uncomfortable for you.
