This position is great for infants for have good head control and are sitting up and for toddlers, too!
Before trying out these positions on your child it might be a good idea to practice on a doll first. Realise
that for the first few times you wear your sling it may be uncomfortable for you until you get used to wearing it. It will
take time and patience while you learn to wear it properly.
To begin, hold your child up high on your shoulder - the shoulder opposite the rings.

Lower them into the sling and allow their legs to go out through the bottom of the sling. Position your
child as you would if you were carrying them on your hip with their legs straddling your hip.

Support your child's weight as you bring the top of the fabric either to their neck with their arms inside
the sling or below their armpits with their arms outside the sling and adjust the top of the fabric by tugging on the left
edge of the tail.
Bring the bottom of the fabric to where their knees bend and then adjust the sling. Their bottom
should be a bit lower than their knees - this way they can sit comfortably inside the sling.
