Here are some of my other patterns:
(all patterns have pics and use worsted weight yarn)

HolidayWreathsNEW.jpg

Holiday Wreaths

Materials:

2” Lucite/Bone ring

Small amounts of variegated and solid color worsted weight yarns. Holiday reds, greens, gold and blue variegated yarns make nice centers. Choose a solid color from the variegated or use a totally contrasting color for the ruffled edge. Colors with metallic threads running through them are very nice.

“G” hook

Yarn needle

White craft glue or a hot glue gun.

Trims as desired, here’s the fun part, get creative with your trims! Make each wreath uniquely a reflection of you!

Using the yarn needle, work in all ends as you go.

With variegated yarn join to ring with a slip stitch. Fill ring with an even number of single crochet stitches. (Approximately 28 – 30) Join with a slip stitch to beginning slip stitch. Fasten off variegated.

Join solid color, with a slip stitch in any single crochet, chain 5, *skip 1 single crochet stitch, single crochet in next stitch. Chain 5.* Repeat around, join with a slip stitch in base of first chain 5 and fasten off.

Working in the skipped single crochet stitches and in front of the chain 5 loops, work chain 3, 1 double crochet in each of the remaining skipped single crochet stitches around. Fasten off.

Use a double strand of yarn and make a bow (ribbon or metallic cord maybe be used). Trim the center of the bow as desired. Tie a small loop of yarn to the center of the top of the wreath.
