Quilting prices are calculated on a square inch basis by multiplying the length
by the width of the top.
IE: ____lenght/inches x _____width/inches = _____ total square inches
Estimated average prices are below. Actual charges will be figured upon
actual quilt measurements.
*Minimum quilting charge is $50.00.
**Backing must be 4-inches wider on all four sided than the quilt top.

Other Charges (where applicable):
Turning charges - $10.00/turn: Turning quilt requires unpinning quilt, turning and reattaching
quilt to the frame for complete quilting on custom and heirloom quilts.
Binding Services:
Front machine binding - $.10/inch: This procedure includes trimming the quilt, preparing
the continuous binding (from your material) and stitching the binding to the quilt front, ready for you to turn it to the
back and hand stitch to finish.
Hand-finished binding - $.25/inch: In addition to half machine binding fee (above), the
binding is turned to the back of the quilt and hand stitched in place.
Full machine binding - $.20/inch: Binding is stitched to the back of the quilt, folded
over toward the front, and machine stitched down close to the folded edge to finish.
Please provide 3/4 to 1 yard of fabric for binding
Batting:
You provide your own.
I provide at the retail price based on your choice of batting (rates available upon request).
Thread:
$5.00 standard color thread charge per quilt (top and bobbin thread match).
$6.00 specialty threads per quilt.
$2.00 per color change
Seaming backing - $7.00/seam: charge per seam to piece the back.
Fix-It Charges - $25.00/hour: such services as clipping threads, pressing out excessive wrinkles,
squaring quilt. You will receive an estimate for services during your appointment.
Basting: basting quilt sandwich for handquilting. Call for estimate.
